ABOUT ME Since I was a child, I have been passionate about filmmaking. At the age of eleven, I I made my first horror film together with my twin sister Martina. Back then it was on VHS and the editing was done analog. Before I started studying, I made over 70 films of all genres, from comedies to dramas to elaborate stop motion films. I wrote and shot as much as I could. After graduating from high school and completing various internships on various film sets, I was drawn. In 2008 I moved to Hamburg. Here I studied film at the Academy of Fine Arts under Wim Wenders and Pepe Danquart. I shot my graduation film in Cuba. This was followed by a master's degree in cinematography at the Hamburg Media School. In 2015 I shot my debut film, the 90-minute crime comedy VORSTADTROCKER, which was awarded “best TV film” at the 37th Biberach Film Festival. This was followed by the black-humored North German western 13 UHR MITTAGS, a FRIESLAND crime thriller, ELLA SCHÖN, the feature films TOO FAR AWAY and MY LOTTA LEBEN 2, the psychological thriller "INVISIBLE ENEMY" as well as various series. Most recently, I was behind the camera for the Netflix series "MURDER MINDFULLY" and the feature film "GIRLS GIRLS". The film will be released in cinemas on July 3, 2025.
